Biography

Rômulo Pontual, a seasoned technology expert and advisor, has been a tech advisor to public and private companies, such as Cisco, and member of the Board for Greenwave Systems. Prior, Rômulo served as CTO and EVP of DirecTV for over a decade; EVP of Television Platforms at News Corporation; and Board member representing News Corporation at Sky Brasil, Innova and iDirect. He also held various senior engineering roles at SES Satellites (Luxembourg) and Embratel (Brazil).

Rômulo earned a BSc from Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro, a specialization in satellite communications from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and a YMP in Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
